One Step At A Time
1) Excavating
Utility Locates performed before project commencement, removal and disposal of materials, assessment of the sub-grade to ensure appropriate aggregates are used with the proper thickness and compaction.
3) Placement
Concrete is placed using the most practical, efficient, clean, and safe way possible to accomplish the best-looking results. Placement can be made directly from the truck shoot, conveyor belt, buggy, machine, or good old fashion wheelbarrows. We ensure we don’t damage property or landscaping or inconvenience the neighbours or traffic. Our most used mix is a 32mpa concrete (best compressive strength) and most typical for outdoor exposure to the elements.
5) Cutting & Clean-up
Control and contraction joints are placed in the highest percentage areas to try and manipulate cracks into the cuts and protect the aesthetic look of the work. Clean-up I must say is our most praised portion. We obsess over making sure every nook and cranny is cleaned up, chipped off and washed. We rake the landscape and do our absolute best to leave with a beautiful result.
2) Form Preparation
Using Canadian lumber and steel, we prepare the outside perimeters. Heights and slope percentages are determined by several factors to ensure proper water manipulation and to avoid pooling. Expansion joint is used to prevent stress cracks when expansion occurs. Steel dowels are used to connect old to new concrete when necessary and to prevent sinking if sub grade becomes undermined. Welded wire mech is used to increase tinsel strength.
4) Finish
This is decided by our customer; however, we will provide suggestions based on wants, needs, safety, convenience, and aesthetics. Our finish options and colours are plentiful and can be found in our website as well.
6) Sealing & Maintenance
We generally incorporate the first initial sealing of your project. We come back after 28 days once the concrete is fully cured, to apply whatever most appropriate seal is needed to maintain the desired look and protect your new concrete from the elements and chemicals it may be exposed to. We then email every customer with added education, maintenance tips and supplier information for our customers to continue caring for the concrete.

Consultation
If schedules allow it, a face-to-face meeting to chat about your wants, needs, and vision. Also to assess what the project will require to be completed efficiently and safely to attain those goals.
Detailed Proposal & Estimate
A comprehensive proposal and estimate, outlining the project scope, and costs, ensuring full transparency before we proceed.
Placement & Finish
Placement and finish of the surfaces, within appropriate concrete time frames, using proven techniques and products that improve the strength and durability of the concrete.
Protection & Maintenance
We include the sealing of the surfaces, to protect the concrete from daily elements as well as seasonal exposure to chemicals. Our Customers play a larger role in this step. We provide our customers with information to ensuring they follow the suggested maintenance requirements and use the suggested products to ensure their concrete vision remains a reality and last the test of time
